This hilltop bungalow now sits in a landscape that finally matches its architecture and the owners’ vision.
Our brief was clear. Turn a tired, awkward outdoor area into a beautiful, welcoming garden with interest in every view from the house.
We designed and installed a layered planting scheme with colour, texture and focal points in every corner. The outlook from each key window and door was carefully considered so that wherever you stand inside, the garden feels like an extension of the home.
The site came with a few challenges.
Poor soil, tricky access and long, narrow garden beds meant every centimetre had to work hard. We introduced custom trellises to support Star Jasmine, creating green vertical walls that soften boundaries and draw the eye up.
Plant selection was tailored to the clients’ lifestyle.
They wanted maximum impact with minimal fuss, so we created a low maintenance palette with year round structure, seasonal interest and strong visual appeal.
