From Potted Pals to Planned Paradise: A Project by the Best Landscape Builders Hills District
SFA Landscape Design was delighted to collaborate with a client eager to transform her front yard. The vision? A vibrant, no-lawn space filled with her favorite plants, winding pathways, and a place to enjoy a leisurely stroll through her own personal garden haven.
The Challenge: Harnessing the Potential & Designing the Pathways
The initial challenge involved a multitude of potted plants scattered around the yard, with the client unsure of their ideal placement. Recognizing the importance of sun and shade exposure, along with the slope of the land, our landscape designers meticulously mapped the space. We then created a personalized plan, recommending specific locations for each plant based on its individual needs. This ensured optimal growth and a thriving garden for years to come.
The client desired a garden with pathways weaving amongst the plants, but lacked a clear design layout. To address this, our landscape designers Hills District Sydney took precise measurements of the entire space. We then used this data to create a detailed, scaled plan showcasing winding pathways that seamlessly navigated around the designated planting areas. This visual representation allowed the client to envision the final product and ensure it met her expectations.
The Solution: Sculpting the Space
The client also had several large sculptures that she wasn’t sure how to incorporate into the design. Understanding the potential for these sculptures to overpower the space, we offered a thoughtful recommendation. We suggested gifting or relocating some of the larger pieces to create a more balanced and visually pleasing atmosphere.
The Outcome: A Gardener’s Dream Realized
Through careful planning and expert design, our landscapebuilders Hills Shire transformed the front yard into a haven for the client. The elimination of the lawn created a unique and vibrant space. All the client’s beloved plants were carefully placed throughout the garden, basking in their designated sunny or shady spots.
